How to choose
An outdoor fridge has to be rated for outdoor use. A standard indoor fridge in an unheated garden will fail within a season: its thermostat cannot cope with cold ambient temperatures and its electrics are not sealed against damp.
For most people a good cool box or a drinks fridge in a sheltered spot is enough, and a built-in outdoor fridge only earns its keep as part of a permanent outdoor kitchen that gets used most weeks.
