How to choose
A fire table integrates a gas or bioethanol burner into a table, so the flame sits at the centre while people eat or drink around it. It is more furniture than fire pit, and it suits a patio that is used for entertaining rather than cooking.
Gas versions are clean and instant but need a concealed bottle; bioethanol versions need no flue and no bottle but give less heat. Neither is for cooking. If you want warmth and looks with no smoke, a fire table is the answer; if you want to cook, buy a fire bowl.
