How to choose
The plan is a short line of tools built to the specification we actually recommend on this site: long, stiff, heavy, and boring in the way good tools are.
Length is the specification nobody prints on the packaging and it is the one that matters. Standard kitchen tongs put your hand directly over a fire that may be running at 300°C. Anything meant for live coals wants to be 40cm or more, and it wants to be stiff enough to lift a pork shoulder without splaying.
There is no point launching another set of thin stamped tools with a logo on them, so this will take a while. In development, nothing for sale yet, and we will say so plainly until that changes.
