Weber Master-Touch 22" Review
The same kettle with the three accessories you were going to buy anyway already included. If the price gap to the Premium is under fifty dollars, take the Master-Touch.
- Gourmet BBQ System grate takes inserts
- Char-baskets included, better two zone fires

What the extra money buys
Three things. The Gourmet BBQ System grate has a removable centre section that takes a sear grate, a wok, a pizza stone or a griddle, which turns the kettle into several cookers. Two steel char-baskets hold the coals in a tight bank, which is the fastest route to a reliable two zone fire. And the Tuck-N-Carry lid holder means the hot lid hooks onto the bowl rim instead of going on your lawn.
The honest comparison
Under the accessories it is the same 22 inch bowl, same vents, same steel, same performance. Nothing here makes the fire behave differently. This is a convenience upgrade, not a cooking upgrade, and it is worth it precisely because those are the three accessories most kettle owners end up buying separately at a worse combined price.
