What to know before you buy
An outdoor kitchen is a building project, not a purchase, and the honest advice is to cook outdoors through a couple of seasons before committing to where anything goes. Almost everyone builds around the cooker they own on day one rather than the one they end up using.
The things people regret leaving out, in order, are worktop space, a sink, weatherproof storage and lighting. The thing people over-buy is burner count. Before any of that, a simple prep table beside the grill is the single most useful piece of outdoor furniture there is.
