Quebracho is one of the densest hardwoods on earth, which is the whole story. It burns hotter and longer than the softer woods in commodity lump, sparks very little, and leaves remarkably little ash. The trade is price and a mild, neutral smoke, so pair it with wood chunks if you want a strong smoke profile.
